نبذه عن الجهاز	Various electrical signals are required for testing and operation of devices. The Function Generator can produce periodic signals of varying frequency, amplitude and several different shapes including: Sine, Square and Triangular signals, TTL/CMOS digital pulses, …etc. Both frequency and amplitude can be varied. This can be done using three group of push–buttons mounted on the front panel. The first is frequency selector with range from 1 Hz to 1 MHz in seven overlapping ranges. The second is amplitude control with range 1 mV to 20Vp-p when the load is 50 ohms added to that an offset range 5 V. The last selector is used to select one of the following waveform: sinusoidal, triangle, square and DC. With zero offset the output is symmetric (positive peak = negative peak), however one can add a DC component (offset) to this symmetric signal to obtain another useful signal, for example square wave (symmetric) + offset (equal to the peak value) = square pulse. The figure below shows the generated signal offset.
